P.F. Chang’s I’m Not Fonda

A review of P.F. Chang’s located in the Source Mall, 1504 Old Country Road, Westbury, NY

‘Twas the week before Christmas

to the Source Mall off we went,

cheer and merriment in the air

P.F. Chang’s, THE MAIN EVENT!

We arrive for happy hour

ice cold Tsingtao, a blessing,

The hot sake was nice

so far, the drinks are refreshing

Now for the food

which is what we are after,

The Mee’s took one bite

and smelled a disaster

Edamame was soggy and salty

a taste that lacked might,

Pork dumplings were delicious

possibly the hit of the night!

Chicken lettuce wrap was next

a dish for them,  a real keeper,

But for these poor Mee’s

it was totally a sleeper

Two types of ribs to be served

one was dry, the other wet,

Neither one it turns out

was really a good bet

Chang’s spicy chicken tasted

like it came from the freezer,

It actually turned out

not to be a crowd pleaser

The shrimp in lobster sauce

was actually not bad, and quite tasty,

In spite of the sauce

being a little too pasty

Spinach in garlic sauce was watery

and totally lacked merit,

A good feel for this dish

I simply cannot inherit

For the Mee’s to go out

is a night full of pleasure,

A great Chinese meal for us

is totally a treasure

In the northeast, where we live

where  good Chinese food is in mass,

PF Chang’s it turns out

is really third class!
