White Bear, famous in Flushing, opened a second location in Great Neck Plaza a few months ago. People line up to takeout from their Flushing location. I was on the fence. Where I perched for a few months before finally succumbing to the hype to try their #6 Wonton with Hot (Chili) Sauce. Now I have. Please tell me what you think of White Bear in the comments.

Eatery 19, an odd name, and an odd number, for a Chinese restaurant, opened over a year ago in the location that was occupied by Zouji after a fire forced them to relocate to Glen Cove. Our latest Quest landed us at Nan Bei Ho in Bayside, Queens, New York. The owner Angela Mao was as famous as Bruce Lee, when she was a martial arts film star in Hong Kong during the 70's. We hoped to meet the living legend herself, and have a legendary meal. But alas, all we were met by was disappointment.

So nu? Tonight we reviewed a Chinese restaurant in Flushing New York called OK Ryan. What was it? Ok? Yes, it was ok. Just not great by Flushing standards.

November 26th (Erev Thanksgiving) was the date of our latest excursion on “The Quest”. Little Dumpling is located at 252-20 Northern Blvd in Little Neck. Upon entering, the interior of the place looks new, and clean, with a modern decor. The food is Shanghai and Taiwanese cuisine, with a specialty in Soup Dumplings. The Mees are big fans of Soup ...
