Are you looking for a nice upscale Chinese restaurant in the Flushing, NY area? May we recommend JUQI? Well, we ARE going to do just that! JUQI is located in the Tangram Mall, two blocks south of Roosevelt Ave., between College Point Boulevard and Prince Street. There are some interesting stores in the mall you might want to check out while you are there.

Recently, a new Chinese restaurant opened up on Main Street in downtown Flushing.  Kings Kitchen, located at 40-12 Main Street, Flushing, NY 11354, is a sparkling new restaurant located a few doors down from McDonald's and across the street from the New World Mall.  That street looks a little drab, and Kings Kitchen is a step in the right direction to sprucing it up. I tried a new dish that I never have had before. I felt like a native! Can you guess what I had?

Our Quest took us to Sweet Wonton House, which is located at 253-25 Northern Blvd, Little Neck, NY 11362. The restaurant recently opened and is a welcome addition to the strip of Chinese restaurants along Northern Boulevard in Little Neck. While not exactly a proper sit-down style Chinese restaurant, we were pleased that it was an authentic, Cantonese-style, Chinese restaurant. We had differing opinions on some of the dishes. A slew of new banquet-style Chinese restaurants recently opened along Northern Boulevard from Flushing to Bayside. Canton Manor is the eastern-most restaurant, and we dined there the other night.
