With a short list of sit-down "authentic" Chinese restaurants to choose from in Columbus, OH, one really caught my eye. Ding Ho. Cantonese cuisine in a very very old-school Chinese restaurant. Would it bring back those memories that I hold near and dear? The second dish we ordered will surprise you!

Orient Garden, the sister restaurant of The Orient in Bethpage, and Orient Odyssey in Syosset recently opened on the site of the Park City Diner. It was kind of empty the night we ate there. Ocean Seafood Chinese Restaurant was one of the very few Chinese restaurants that we found in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. For better or worse, sweet or sour, we dined there. Which was it?

Jiang Nan, a new Chinese restaurant, that opened in Syosset, which adds to the Jiang Nan dynasty with locations in all of the chichi, tory, upscale dining establishments on the Gold Coast of Long Island. L.O.L BBQ & Grill is a fairly recent addition to the dining options in Great Neck Plaza. Thankfully it's not another Bubble Tea parlor, but a very delicious offering of Chinese street food in the form and skewers and other dishes. A slew of new banquet-style Chinese restaurants recently opened along Northern Boulevard from Flushing to Bayside. Canton Manor is the eastern-most restaurant, and we dined there the other night. Always crowded when you drive by, and at times many families await outside for a table to free up. Everyone is Asian. It's gotta be good? Right?
