2015 Bucket List

My Bucket List2014 is in the books… There were lots of great memories.  We had a Bucket List from last year… we checked off some items… others we didn’t get to.  So nu?  Sue us!  I really like saying that!  What can I say?  How about I say what I really want to accomplish in 2015.  I thought you’d never ask! 🙂

So here we go.  Let’s keep this list real (Man, I wish I put more thought in to this!):

#1 – I want to go to Chinatown!  Enough already!  How can this be a Chinese Quest if we don’t go in to the mecca of Chinese food in Manhattan?  We’ve found GREAT Chinese restaurants in Flushing.  But… for people to really take us seriously, we need to be all encompassing.  Chinatown Ho!  (I wonder if there’s a Chinese restaurant with that name?)

#2 – I want to try a dish I’ve never tried before.  I wish I knew what the dish was, or will be.  I guess it will be a surprise.  Who’s the Chef that wants to invite The Chinese Quest to try something we’ve never had before?

#3 – (this might be a repeat from last year) I want someone, completely out of the blue, to say, “Have you ever been to this Chinese restaurant?  I read a review about it on The Chinese Quest”.

#4 – There is no #4 on the Bucket List.  Weird, right?  If memory serves me correctly, the number four (4) is bad luck to Chinese people.  I have a good memory (plus, I double checked that link), the number four is considered an unlucky number in Chinese because it is nearly homophonous to the word “death”. Due to that, many numbered product lines skip the “4”.  For example, in East Asia, some buildings do not have a 4th floor.

#5 – It’s great to be alive!  (No wait, that’s not a bucket list item.  In fact, it’s not even a proper fortune cookie.  Perhaps it means I want to be a poet.  Perhaps I will write a review in Haiku one day!)

#6 – I want to find a good, nay GREAT, Chinese restaurant in Brooklyn.  Any suggestions?

#7 – Since the number seven is lucky, let me make this Bucket Item a wish… I want the Chinese Quest to have 100,000 subscribers, 100,000 Likes on Facebook, and 100,000 Followers on Twitter.

#8 – The Number eight looks like infinity turned on it’s head.  Let me wish EVERYONE infinite love, joy, health, prosperity, patience, tolerance, and goodwill to all mankind in the coming year.

I look forward to checking off EVERY item on this years Bucket List!
