Deng Ji is the sixth in a series of fancy Chinese restaurants serving authentic Chinese Cuisine. This is their first location on Long Island. There is also one in Flushing, NY. Will you like it? Jiang Nan, a new Chinese restaurant, that opened in Syosset, which adds to the Jiang Nan dynasty with locations in all of the chichi, tory, upscale dining establishments on the Gold Coast of Long Island. You wouldn't expect such a fancy restaurant in a strip mall on the north side of Jericho Turnpike. Did it live up to its glitz? Let us take you on a tour, and you decide if you want to give it a go!

L.O.L BBQ & Grill is a fairly recent addition to the dining options in Great Neck Plaza. Thankfully it's not another Bubble Tea parlor, but a very delicious offering of Chinese street food in the form and skewers and other dishes. A slew of new banquet-style Chinese restaurants recently opened along Northern Boulevard from Flushing to Bayside. Canton Manor is the eastern-most restaurant, and we dined there the other night. Always crowded when you drive by, and at times many families await outside for a table to free up. Everyone is Asian. It's gotta be good? Right?
