Wednesday is Monday

The Bottom Line

Honestly?  I like Wednesday is Sundae better.  At Carvel’s you buy one sundae, get one sundae on Wednesday’s.  What Jewish guy doesn’t like that?

But, in this case, Wednesday IS Monday.

What does that mean to you?  I will tell you what it means to me.  It means that I don’t get to eat Chinese food tonight.  I don’t get to go to Yao’s Diner tonight.  But, neither do the other Mee’s either.

We have to call to your attention one of the rules we have here.  It’s called minion. For those who are unfamiliar with the term, it loosely translates in its simplest form, to we have a three Mee minimum.

That means that a restaurant Review is invalidated is this principle is invalidated.  For, in order to post a valid review we MUST have a minion, i.e. a minimum of three Mee’s.

We had four Mee’s committed (yes, we should probably ALL be committed.  But, that is a story for another post) to dinner tonight a Yee’s Diner.  But, one of the Mee’s turned extra Jewish on us tonight, and ditched us for the almighty buck.  The pursuit of the dream.  Money.  Now mind you, any of us Mee’s would have done exactly the same thing.  When presented with the opportunity to make some money, you make a grab for it (which is similar in nature to the battle that occurs over the last spare rib. I pity the Mee of the first part, who doesn’t make a swift snatch and grab of said rib, lest another Mee (the Mee of the second part) grabs hold arm of the Mee of the first part and without pausing to consider, munches down on poor unfortunate Mee who was slow to make the outright claim on the last rib.  Possession in this case, while it does represent 9/10ths of the law, in this case results in a trip to the Emergency Room.

The bottom line is thus, the Mee’s have postponed their trip to Yao’s Diner (yes, this story was starting to sound a lot like Alice’s Restaurant, and if only we were going to Yao’s Restaurant, rather than Diner, we would have broken in to song at this point.  But, better we didn’t), to Monday.

Someday, this post will be what people had in mind when they talk of the days of Yao.

Stay hungry my friends (like we have a choice… we HAVE to wait ’til Monday!)
