Last week, a new Chinese restaurant, Lucky Dumplings, opened in Great Neck, NY.  They are located at 19 Northern Blvd, Great Neck, NY 11021, in the former location of Coco's Palace.  The restaurant is directly across Northern Blvd. from Moonstone Modern Asian Cuisine & Bar.  Between the grand opening of Lucky Dumplings and the closing of Coco's Palace, Mochinut Donut occupied the space.  But they didn't last long, and the spot remained vacant for a few years.  I was happy to see it reopen as a Chinese restaurant again.  I couldn't wait to check it out. So, I did!

A slew of new banquet-style Chinese restaurants recently opened along Northern Boulevard from Flushing to Bayside. Canton Manor is the eastern-most restaurant, and we dined there the other night. Always crowded when you drive by, and at times many families await outside for a table to free up. Everyone is Asian. It's gotta be good? Right? We returned this evening to LN 1380 Chinese restaurant in Little Neck, NY a few months now after their Grand Opening. What can I say, the food was great! When The Chinese Quest first reviewed this restaurant we awarded it our highest rating of "EXCELLENT". If you haven't been there yet, put this Chinese restaurant on your To Do List!

My first venture to find authentic Chinese food take-out since I moved to my new place, leads me to a Chinese take-out restaurant that just opened. "Moo Shu" in Little Neck. Will I be back?

What's better than a day at the Museum, and lunch at a Chinese restaurant? No traffic and plenty of parking! A perfect day capped off by a a late lunch at Little Dumpling in Little Neck, NY.
