A slew of new banquet-style Chinese restaurants recently opened along Northern Boulevard from Flushing to Bayside. Canton Manor is the eastern-most restaurant, and we dined there the other night. Always crowded when you drive by, and at times many families await outside for a table to free up. Everyone is Asian. It's gotta be good? Right? O Mandarin, in Hicksville, NY, opened a year and a half ago. We dined there a year ago. And now we are prepared to tell you the story of their magnificent Chinese restaurant. They have a sister restaurant, by the same name, in Hartsdale, NY, which has been packing in dining patrons for years. From all of the wood, and some of the Chefs and Wait Staff, that were imported from China, no expense was spared in its construction nor in it's food.
