Kosher Restaurants in China

We often receive a few e-mails from people thanking us for our unbiased reviews of Chinese restaurants.  But, we recently received an e-mail from someone who thought so highly of our mission to find the best AUTHENTIC Chinese restaurant on Long Island and New York City that they plan to share our site with people from China who are planning a trip to the greater New York area and are looking for authentic Chinese food!

Reciprocity is what we are all about!  So, as as yet another public service announcement, we present this article for Jews who are planning a trip to China and keep Kosher.  Without further ado, we present a list of Kosher restaurants in China.  Please note that this is merely a list.  We do not attest to the quality of these restaurants.  For that, my friends, will appear in a future blog… The Kosher Quest!  But, until then…

Dini’s Kosher Restaurant (Glatt Kosher) – Located in Beijing

Please note that they are  currently operating out of a temporary location, offering meals out of the Central Chabad House kitchen and dining room until they complete renovations at their new location.

Cuisine: Western, Chinese and a Sushi Bar. The only Glatt Kosher traditional Chinese food in China. The restaurant provides delivery anywhere in China.  I bet that they can’t guarantee that your food will be ready in 10 minutes or less!  

The Shanghai Jewish Center Cafe – Located in Shanghai

Lunch or dinner served.  Also available: Take-Out or Delivery.  Additional charge for delivery according to distance.

Thank goodness they don’t deliver ALL over China!  I can’t imagine just how much THAT would cost!!

Chabad Jewish Center – Located in Pudong

Offers free of charge, delicious meals on Friday night and Shabbat day. They also order Kosher, Israeli products online, and you can order as well through the Chabad center

China Help 24 – Located all over China

Order Kosher Food Online and they will deliver anywhere in China or Hong Kong.  They will deliver Kosher food to your hotel, office or home.

As you can see, this is list is fairly short.  If you know of any other Kosher restaurants in China, please let us know and we will update this article.
