I saw Yong Joo with a Chinese menu in his hand
Wandering through the streets of Flushing in the rain
He was looking for a place called Joe’s Shanghai
Gonna get a big dish of beef chow mein
Aaoooooo!
Werewolves of Long Island!
Aaoooooo! (Repeat)
If you hear them howling around your kitchen door
Better not let them in
A steamed basket of Soup Dumplings got devoured late last night
Werewolves of Long Island again
Asoooooo!
Werewolves of Long Island!
Aaoooooo! (Repeat)
They’re the hairy-handed ‘beins who ran amuck in Queens
Lately they’ve been overheard in Roslyn
Better stay away from them
They’ll rip your lungs out, Jim
I’d like to meet their tailor
Aaoooooo!
Werewolves of Long Island!*
Aaoooooo! (Repeat)
Oh my gosh, what a really really bad dream! This song was playing in my head. The Mee’s had morphed in to werewolves! I woke up in a pool of sweat. I’m thinking that this is what happens when one does not go out to eat Chinese food for a really really long time. Clearly, we really need to go out on a Chinese Quest very very soon. I’m one ravenously hungry Jew, just craving me some Chinese food. And if I don’t get my fix soon, there’s no telling what kind of beast I may turn in to!
Please help Mee! Please help our Quest. We need YOUR help to discover some new enchanted Chinese restaurants. Where do you suggest we go? What should we eat?
If we don’t find a suitable Chinese restaurant now, can some one please refer us to some good tailors (what a really bad pun… “suit”able <–> tailors. Really now!) Can’t you see this is critical. I’m starting to lose it. I can’t even write a good article any more. I need some inspiration. I need some good Chinese food! THEN, we will return you to our regular blog. Until then, Help us!!
How can you help us? If you can recommend a really good Chinese restaurant, please use our handy dandy, super convenient Contact Form, or post a comment below.
Until then, fair warning, you’re subject to more articles like this one!
*With apologies to Warren Zevon.
Humbly submitted for your consumption,

Isn’t the song Werewolves of London? We love your blog. Can you go on a quest for Indian food too? Have you gone to the restaurant, Hunan Taste yet?
Nope… Definitely “Werewolves of Long Island”!! 😉
We haven’t officially been to Hunan Taste in Greenvale yet, for an official review. We have taken out before with less than stellar results. Eventually we will get to Hunan Taste. What do you think of Hunan Taste?
Hmm, “The Indian Quest”. Sounds exotic and intriguing. How much is it worth it to you? 😉
